Looking for help!!!!
I'm looking for a replacement cleat plate for my Sidi Ergo 2 shoes.
I recently broke the head off one of the screws holding in my cleat (top screw) and am unable to remove the remains from the receptacle socket in the sole of the shoe.
Does anyone know if it's possible to get a replacement inner reinforcement plate/receptacle screw socket for the shoe? and from where? I'm unable to find them anywhere online.
Thanks in advance,
Keith

I think you will have to contact the distributor and see if they do spares. Otherwise, if you can get the plate out, take it to an engineering firm and get them to mill the old screw out with a fluted cutter. Drilling it out may also be possible... but it's easier to go wrong with a drill.
I ride, therefore I am. But don't ride into harm's way.

I recently needed to drill a number of snapped screws out of a robot toy. I used a small kit from a hardware store, a small cordless drill and it worked flawlessly. There was less margin for error on the toy than on a sole.
I'd try that.
I'd try that.
