Hello all,
I am a keen recreational cyclist and have recently purchased an awesome frame from overseas, however I have been looking at the tools required and they are very expensive indeed.
I am ideally seeking access to these tools by offering voluntary work at cycle shops on weekends, events etc...
I live in Sydney. I have emailed a few shops and have called in a couple of times but no joy.
Your input appreciated.
Thanks
Dilshan

Dilshan,
Most bike shops won't let you use their tools, even if you ask nicely. If you were well known to them, they might, but since you're a noob, the liability they face is way too much. You might want to try The Nunnery Bike Club who run open sessions where you can get some good advice and use their tools.
