My New GT MTB.

Not the biggest, best or flashest, but I love it, so much better than road, no cars, it just feels right. http://www.use.com/a149d91eda65bd26f963]Image

Ha ha. I sometimes run it with a bag that takes up most of the main triangle but then I have to loose one of my bottle cages.

I had that problem when I ran a metal cage there but the plastic one holds them nice and tight and doesn't bend out of shape.

Yeh, still haven't acquired a whipper snipper. I should say that I'm spending too much time on the bike to do the lawn but it's not true at the moment sadly. :P

Just curious as to what size frame this one is....... the black inner diamond paintwork makes this look very compact to the eye and the two tone "Giant" logos work very well on this black and white frame....... wheel match nicely........ :D

That's going to be one tough ride considering you haven't got pedals!

Nah! Have you ridden the Gong ride? Unless you get a head start, you'll spend the first few kms straddling your bike and paddling along with your feet. Buy some pedals at a shop along the way and put them on when you get close to the Captain Cook bridge and the bike traffic starts to thin out

I have now started breaking in the 2011 Kona Honky Inc that replaced the Argon18 Platinum.

Here is a pic of the bike as it rolls today. Still filthy from the ride up Eagle on The Hill on Monday night, and now up to 341km so far after 10 days. Just waiting on a 10mm longer stem from PBK.

Rides really well, so I'm a happy camper

I just picked up a 2011 trek 5.5 yesterday. I had a 4.5 and the frame cracked so was given this as a replacement.
At first I was skeptical about the colour however it has grown on me. I have order 2 new bottle cages for it aswell.

At the moment it is running 105 however am thinking of upgrading to sram red down the track.

My first "good" road bike (avanti vivace) has recently been given a new lease of life with new chain (ultegra), casette, chain rings, crank (105), pedals, BB, bar tape, wheels (ultegra rs80), tyres, bidon cages, spedo, brake pads. Actually taking care of it now :)

Oh look, somewhere else for me to put up a pic of my new Specialized Tarmac Comp SL2.

It's better than me at this stage, I hope to catch up to it by Christmas.

That's a huge saddle set back. Are your thighs abnormally long or is this your preferred position ?

Nice bike btw.
Gas propulsion.......it's natural don't fight it.

I think it is the pic.
Looks a little distorted.
And looking at the saddle rails, the saddle is actually quite forward.

Built up the Farleigh's replacement;
Bosevski frame
Columbus SLX, Cinelli lugs
Suntour Superbe cranks
Suntour Sprint hubs
Shimano 600 Ultegra derailleurs
As soon as it stops raining we'll go for a spin :D

Photo does not do the bike justice
