Even if cycling did reduce sperm count mine would still be significantly well above average. I wouldn't worry too much if you have a low count, it only takes 1 to do the job. Surely it's no skin off your nose if you have to pump more volume to achieve the desired result.ftssjk wrote:do any of you guys suffer from low sperm count or low quality sperm count due to cycling?

Even here, the measuring contest takes place...
Never tested it.

How could you attribute it to cycling? Unless you did a sperm count before you took up cycling and one after, it would be impossible to know. Its more likely jocks are the culprit, after all, people wear those 16+ hours a day, as opposed to 3 hours a day cycling for amateur cyclists.ftssjk wrote:do any of you guys suffer from low sperm count or low quality sperm count due to cycling?

Don't think a Brooks would help. The Brooks B17 variant saddles I have are quite hard on the nose. Might be harder than many other saddles actually. I'm currently trying to recover from an groin injury I sustained from the nose of the saddle. Can't even use the road bike at the moment.sli123 wrote:......waiting for a Brooks saddle comment.......

So at least one of your kids is a disapointment? Poor thingInwood wrote:I think heat is bad for the swimmers, not sure why cycling itself would be though. I cycle commute every day, apart from some breaks for 14 years, and have 2 kids from only *3* tries I won't go into why in some ways that can be a little disappointing...

? I think you misunderstand, its a joke. Its not like trying to make a baby is a exactly a hardship, so success on the first try (while a very happy thing) also means you miss out on trying some more. My kids are in no way a disappointment. The 2nd Womble wrote:So at least one of your kids is a disapointment? Poor thing

I was a competitive cyclist for 13yrs and had no problems but I didn't wear jocks from the age of 25 and still don't.
Heat is the enemy of those little round things for being healthy.
