a) it's not Danny Macaskill, and b) I'd want a hell of a lot more lighting than that for a London commute.

Think for a commuter I would prefer a saddle to be able to sit on.

I have an Exelite LumiSash and a LumiPac, but these jackets actually look pretty cool. One less piece of gear to carry

The idea of the integrated EL's is nice, and the active light source rather than reliance on reflective light only is a big
positive.

But the product on the video probably exaggerates the impact of the EL because of the darkness of the black jacket fabric.
I can't help but think the cyclist would be much more visible in a white outfit, and with a white bike etc.,. And way more
visible if he'd had a set of ayups blazin' away.

Other jackets in the company's range have the EL's on a hi-vis lime background, but for night-time use a white
color and additional reflective materials might be more effective.

Cool-riding, but I wonder how many out-takes, bruises and broken bones it took

Am so so with you on the need for a saddle... at the right height and some bigger gearing looks like a winning idea too.

If you watch how close his ass gets to the tyre on most of his landings (including
when he's jumping up onto fences and rails as well as down), you'll work out
why there is no saddle. He needs every inch he can get to absorb impacts - a seat post and
saddle would seriously jeopardise that.

Yes, because every time I commute I will be utilising those honed in skills too! the most I do is small stair gaps and drops.... I can barely hold a wheelie for five pedal strokes lol...

On the visibility side of things, those small flashers look like the way to go as additional lighting on me or the bike.
