One presumes you went back to " the scene of the crime" this morning and did it again to get the satisfaction of proving a point? Much smaller fields today so might have been easier.

"Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity."
having not raced for 20 years (although i might start again soon), back in my day i was just happy if i could figure out where and when the race was being held. we used to have people driving around dirt roads in all directions looking for the start line. the old guys who organised the races were always pretty happy that things ran smoothly though

Around my work the saying used is:
" Suspect incompetence over conspiracy every time"
Although in this case go easy on the volunteers, they have a difficult, thankless job and you would not be racing without them.

hmm looks pretty cut and dry to me. If your the guy in the black and yellow you won... looking at the sequence and taking your comments around the guys in front being "A" grade its pretty easy to see you crossed first and if by some miracle not first then def second...
Congrats

Dirt roads, old guys organising...sounds like the CCCC races of 20 years ago. I remember them as well......jules21 wrote:"Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity."
