At $899 that could be a good buy...
Chuck out the lead acid battery and put on a nice Lithium Polymer one for a few hundred bucks. It will probably reduce the weight by a couple of kilos and increase the range and also increase the torque too.

Of course, you might not be able to replace the brake pads or chain or something like that as others have posted.
