I am hanging to do another similar ride close to sydney

Check out the Sydney Audax rides. I did the In Search of Hills rides that left from Hornsby in December last year. Was meant to be a kind of warm up for the Alpine classic/extreme etc etc. Hoping its on again this year.

I have been looking at the Audax rides in the Hornsby area as well.
They seem to do regular rides in the 100, 200 and 300km range

Yeah, Audax rides are a lark. I'm planning to front for the "Three Gorges", "In Search of Hills" and "Namadgi Grimpeur" rides.
