Bowen Place Underpass

Postby HAKS » Tue Nov 08, 2011 4:22 pm

Bowen Place Underpass is open for comment on the NCA website. Sure would be a hell of an improvement over the current intersection.

I like it! The current arrangement wouldn't be hard to beat though, it's pretty average.

Pretty below average really. Considering how many families with youngish children ride the bridge to bridge loop it is a wonder that we don't hear of injuries and deaths on that crossing. About bloody time.

I agree. Its crap. Especially with a trailer and people coming the other way. Really dangerous considering how fast motorists pass through there from Kingston. 60kmh my butt. It should be 40 with that crossing.

New concept looks good. Hurry up and build it!

By the time they build it Miles will probably be towing a bike trailer with the grandies in it.

Looks great. It's important for Canberra tourism and recreation to replace the third-world dirt track presently there.

Well, it has taken them fifty years to get a picture done, let's not rush things...
