Women's AIS selection camp

Postby philip » Mon Nov 28, 2011 10:59 am

They really should have made a reality tv show from this, it would be one that I would probably watch! It sounds extreme:

A friend was on this and she had her collarbone broken during the "crash practise". Straight home for her!

Sounds hellish yet awesome. I would love to do something like this (minus the cut else I'd be toast).

I raced with some of them on Saturday - they raced away and dropped me!

sounds like a "warm up" camp to me :P
If you can't explain it simply, then you don't understand it well enough.

even if i was EVER good enough to even look through the door of a place like that (which I never was or will be) i feel comfortable in saying i know that i would NOT have been pliable enough to do as i was told. Too much like boot camp for me where they break you and then mould you. Never would have made a good foot soldier cos i just questioned too much and loathed doing something just cos someone said so and the logic was not given.

That said WELL DONE to those young women for giving it a crack. Win or lose or eliminated or not eliminated......RESPECT
