Sometimes you just have to...

Postby trailgumby » Sat Nov 26, 2011 2:12 pm

This is where I go when I'm taking newbies out for a spin. Will also use these trails when I'm looking for a hard aerobic workout and I don't want to be on technical trails that will bite me if I have a concentration lapse.

But then, sometimes, you just have to stop ... and take it all in. This is a shot I took of my mate Kiwi Phil on Centre Track:

Centre Track Terrey Hills, just after the climb up from McCarrs Creek Road and looking due west. The trail turns left to run roughly parallel to General San Martin Drive southbound. This tesselated rock platform forms a dead end off to the right of that left turn.

Roadies would never get stuck in the mud. That's for crossers

Roadies metamorph into crossers come winter... Mtb'ers just use the same bike all year round. :-)
