OzHPV Rally Weekend 2-4 December

Postby Poiter » Fri Nov 04, 2011 2:35 pm

All recumbent enthusiasts welcome.

Hi All

OzHpv will hold a rally weekend in Myrtleford in a few weeks time, December 2-4.
Details of the ride are online at
http://modularbikes.com.au/rally_weeken ... eekend.pdf.

Ozhpv Members should already have received an email about the weekend which will
include OzHpv's annual general meeting.

This is a national event and we are expecting riders from Canberra, Melbourne
and many parts of country Victoria. It will be a great opportunity to see and
try recumbent bikes and trikes or just ride in great cycling country with
friendly folks.

Any enquiries (03)94818290

Regards

Steve Nurse

Sounds like a great weekend.
Pity I'm too far away to attend.

Hope we'll get a bit of a write up after its all over.

The OzHPV Rally Weekend is shaping up to be a pretty good thing.
Lots of serious bent riders coming in from Canberra, Melbourne, Geelong and Portland as well as other outlyers.
The OzHPV AGM thing is just a process we have to get through every year and the past couple have been held over Skype.
There should be a range of bikes and trikes available to look over and beg a ride of if you are lucky.
Ben Goodall is talking about coming along with his large van full of Triseld goodies.
There should be some of the new Evolve folding trikes to check out.
You don't have to be an OzHPV member or have a recumbent to attend - we'll put the screws on you when you're there :D .
So, there you go. If you don't come along to Myrtleford you'll miss out.

Thanks for posting the pictures Poit.
Did you ride Eileen along those steps? would have been quite a sight if you had.
Would have been fun pulling the train with a full load uphill. :D

There was a group touring around with youg kids in the trailers and I think that guy got bored.
It worked for a few laps of caravan park and then they decided to load it up with kids.

I was hooning around on Eileen riding on two wheels with the tilt locked.

Maybe you could ride home like that with one flat tyre.
