Re: Open Cut Mining approved for the Corsoyep, sticking to plan b...Nebo instead of River.
Re: Open Cut Mining approved for the Corsoupdate: sylvan rd is now surfaced. there is obviously still some loose gravel around, and no lines. but it's surfaced
Re: Open Cut Mining approved for the CorsoCorso was a sticky mess yesterday, how long does it take to resurface a road???
Lisa
Re: Open Cut Mining approved for the Corso
What time was that???? I was there early in the morning and it was nothing that a rough surface as per the pas week or so with a few more potholes. Did they re-surface it? Will be out training in the morning so will check it out and put an update
Re: Open Cut Mining approved for the CorsoIt was very late in the morning, my Garmin was showing temps in the mid 30's!
The the surface was very rough and uneven at the end close to Dutton Park....I was planning on an early morning loop ride on Friday so I'd appreciate the latest status of the condition. Lisa
Re: Open Cut Mining approved for the Corso
was looking at one saturday morning. so a status update would be great
Re: Open Cut Mining approved for the CorsoI posted before that I think they've "finished". As nothing has been happening for over a week I reckon they really have!
Ha ha! Cookies on dowels.
Re: Open Cut Mining approved for the CorsoWhat I rode over yesterday is so far from finished...I've driven over better roads in Africa than the Corso yesterday

Re: Open Cut Mining approved for the Corso
pff, a week is nothing in council terms. They left kingsford smith drive torn up for months earlier in the year before doing anything about it.
Re: Open Cut Mining approved for the CorsoWent for a training ride this morning and can report that the corso is still a mess !
Some of those pit holes are just eroding further more by the day
Re: Open Cut Mining approved for the CorsoTraining ride this morning 17/12/2011 and can report that the corso has now been resurfaced ! Yeah !
Re: Open Cut Mining approved for the Corso
+1. newly surfaced roads are wonderful, as long as there are no cars around to flick up stones
Re: Open Cut Mining approved for the Corso
Thanks for the up-date, yay, back to the River Loop this week! Lisa
Re: Open Cut Mining approved for the CorsoWent over there yesterday... so smooth... so glossy.
Once you can climb hills on a bike it's all downhill.
Hopefully I'll know what that's like..... one day. ![]()
