Any way to secure saddle clamp?

Hello BNA'ers.

I have been having an issue lately with some scumbag thinking its a funny joke to mess with the saddle clamp bolt while I am at work.

Background:
My bike is stored in a secured room inside my work premises, where only employees with building access (electronic pass) can enter, it is locked to a rack inside this room which is bolted to the ground.

for the last few days, someone has been either playing silly buggers, or attempting to steal the saddle but not figuring it out - but the first day I went to ride off and felt my seating position was out - the saddle had slipped all the way back and on inspection the clamp was loose and needed about 5 turns to do up again - more than just a casual working loose over time (I have had the bike only for couple of weeks).
Today I noticed before I got on the bike that the saddle was set further back and when I touched it, it wiggled loosely - i.e. extremely loose.

this is clearly not a vibration or any other random issue - someone is messing with the bike by undoing the saddle clamp bolt.


Anyway - the point to all this; is there a way to secure the bike against this kind of tampering? (or can you electrify carbon fibre?)

I will be complaining to the security office today, but I am expecting the response to be along the lines of "store your bike at your own risk - not our problem" much the same as it was when my hybrid was tampered with (someone twisting the handlebar grips until the glue snapped - come back to bike and handlebar grips are pointing up and down).

I would bring the bike up to my desk but security wont let it through the gates... this is really starting to piss me off!

if you have a quick release seat post clamp, use some whiteout or marker pen to mark its height. then remove the seat and post and take it with you. alternatively lock the seat rails with a padlock to a length of chain looped through your bike lock or the bike frame.

It's an integrated seat post - so no worries about post going missing.
Could try looping the saddle rails through chain - more annoyed at the loosening of the clamp bolt - has anyone tried different bolts with keyed heads or anything like that?

get one of these in the right size and just put it in the bolt. To get it out just use another rare earth magnet as the attraction will be greater to the other magnet than the bolt. http://www.dealextreme.com/p/neodymium- ... pack-13503

If a-hole figures that out you can fill it with solder/glue? How often you going to move it anyway.

But my guess is the a-hole is just playing a practical joke on you cause if they have gone that far (twice) and not taken the seat that can't be their goal.

Can you install a hidden camera in the bike cage?

I spoke to security office today - they say big NO to any form of cameras in the bike shed as has locker area and people change in there and massive privacy concerns re filming naked people. LOL.

I like the magnet idea.

State manager has a Pinarello Dogma so I may quiz him as to his arrangement if he ever rides to work.

How odd. Our bike cage has a security camera and our locker and changing rooms are separate. The only time I'd change in the bike cage is putting on my wet weather gear as it is visible to the entire car park.

How about leaving a note on your saddle saying I am watching you (technically not true but a pair of evil eyes is always a novel deterrent).

A specialist bolt supplier should be able to get you however many torx head bolts you need in the appropriate sizes. If it still happens after that, you know malice is involved.
A strongly worded letter to the building management/security firm suggesting that by ignoring this behaviour they are condoning potentially life threatining vandalism might be the jolt they need to put the donuts down and patrol once in a while

CRs idea of a note hinting at monitoring and eekslls magnet idea both have merit too.

Stick a fake spider to the underside of the saddle right next to the bolt...
