Andrew started this club back in 2008 and its been working a treat since and for the two years that I've been in, I've enjoyed the banter etc, thanks Andrew. With Andrew not running one this year i thought I'd take it on so we still have the club running in 2012 (I hope I haven't bitten off more than I can chew)
Notes as per Andrews op from last year.

The thread is now sticky, enjoy.
...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

I am in. Will work out how to set a goal on Bike Journal for 6000km. Looking forward to my first ride of the new year tomorrow
"It is the unknown around the corner that turns my wheels"
I'm in again, will aim for what I managed to achieve last year, 2880km, after a 4 week lay off due to injury at the end of last year cost me about 300 km's and still slowly recovering.
Love your enthusiasm LTR I see you've upped the ante to 20k
I'm in again, going for 6999 this year.
Loved the encouragement/banter/gauntlet throwing of the 6k club in 2011, so I'm sticking around for the 2012 edition, even if there's no added sparkle
Hope that we see some more ladies join us...dont get put off by the 'gits'!

Cycling goal for 2013 was 12,000 and I was ahead of the target before a crash took me out.
I have completed my last duty as admin and cleaned up the membership database. All members who hadn't logged on for at least 12 months where removed. Livetoride is the now the boss of the Club
Proudly "a bleeding heart with too much spare time on his hands"

Looks like we have a busy fun year ahead with all these K's

Count me in again. 6000km for me this year. Managed to do 1700km from beginning of Sept to Dec (2k km from July), so it'll be a stretch. that little red triangle should be the motivation I need though

Hills hurt but couches KILL!
Hey mate here's th no ambo trips for any of us. Either your 'k'omter is wrong or you've been busy this year....
Good luck to ya for the year mate but by the look of your 'K'inter your already there...
Noticed a few peeps have their 'K'omter missing- just in case it's this check that your "keep my goals private" is UNchecked. It's under the distance goal for 2012 on BJ.
