Womens cycling 3333 to 6666k club
Postby Apple » Fri Dec 23, 2011 7:42 am
Just like the book the red tent, we can share our rides without getting swallowed by the male riders.
Is anyone interested?

I've done 234 kms so far this year. An intensity I will not be able to sustain post the Alpine Classic I suspect. Anyway, I did some hill efforts in Centennial Park this morning and felt terrible each time. No gain without pain I tell myself.
But thanks to Apple and Grasshopper I now know about Strava which is quite alot of fun.

Setting a goal and then fessing up to it on a forum to a bunch of people that you've never met and may never meet is a great motivator to getting out there and clocking up the k's!
Set one and go for it, adjust it up or down if you need to....last year I set one of 4444 and then got sucked into all the fun/banter/gauntlet throwing of the 6666k club and then spent the rest of the year chasing down a red arrow

Because of it I have noticed a huge improvement in my riding ability!
