What sort of bike was it? I built up an Apollo Delta II for my brother recently with Ultegra 9 speed and some deep V Rigida rims on 105 hubs and it cranked along, and was just under 11kg with pedals. Really nice bike (700C spacing and proper geometry) although it was only 4130 Cr Mo plain gauge, I certainly don't descriminate anymore if the frame is of reasonable geometry (ie no long head tubes and lazy angles), the right size and has forged drop outs. We're both 6'5" so finding cast off frames in our size is hard
Could be a fun build!

Interesting use of the hub gears and derailleur. Didn't know that.

Great find Peachy - I'm envious as hellpeachy wrote:I'd never heard of the name until I read about Alex Moulton, didnt realise there is such a following. The frame needs to be repaired. Thanks for the help, cant believe my luck
They're a bit on the heavy side but offer a comfy ride.
You want a very competent frame builder for that repair.
I'm sure someone could do it.
Once you've gone Moulton, not many return

Appreciate hearing about it if you do as I may be in a position to bid myself.peachy wrote: I might flip it on flea bay. Thanks rifraf
Spare frame parts would be fairly rocking horse dropping like these days considering the bike is of around 13 years old.
What State is the bike situated in?
If you decide to keep it yourself and need any info, just drop me a line anytime and I'll try to see you right with what ever info you need.
The NSW Moulton dealer is Clarrance Street Cycles but I get the feeling that they dont know much about the product (which is fair enough as they only got the dealership recently).

Hi Stuey,Stuey wrote:Rifraf, was I right about the gears? If so, how many ratios does it have?
yes it utilises an internal hub - 3 speed.
It has a single chainring on the cranks and a seven speed cassette.
21 speed in all for the Landrover.
The newer model APB came with 24 and the latest incarnation (TSR27) has 27

thanks heaps for the thought and link.
The parts are very model specific however and few interchange.
Those older models have a following and I've no doubt that someone will snap it up
to restore to its former glory.
Cheers
