Last year I came in at 5.8k down from my 8.5k the year before. I'm going for the 10k again.

That was a mighty fine effort you logged on the 1st 16000 + a few on day one of the year, however you weren't the only one there was a 5000 posted on day one of the year also - either very fast riders or got more hours in the day than the rest of us.

I'm in too. 4,000 km again, but I've started swimming and running in prep for the Women's Triathlon in February, so I'm going for last year's cycling goal + continuing swimming and running throughout the year as a bigger goal.

Yeah I wasn't mucking about, thought I may as well get it over and done with. However after some thought I decided it wasn't fair on everyone else so my first ride for the year doesn't count. :D

I submitted my Bikejournal user name to initiate the progress bar but I have entered it in the wrong case. I have tried to re submit in the correct case but I get a message saying the name has already been submitted.

Is there any way to correct the error of my ways.

My BJ name is R12RT.

I've fixed this part for you, but you still either haven't set a 2012 goal or haven't set it to be public.

Yippee, I'm out of the 10,000k thread and back here. Like the overall views better. It's good to see all riders no matter how many k's they choose to ride, reach or try and reach there goals. :D I'm in for 12,000k's again.

I always start the year down the ranks but seem to gain through the winter and end up in the to 25%.
Wonder who will be first to falter this year. 8)

Woops should have said it earlier but many thanks to Andrew for he's running of the Fit gits over the last several years. This thread is always one of my main motivators. 8) :D

I'm joining the circus.... :D 7500km is the goal...... I'd love to do 10k but realistically 7500 is prob going to be a big enough challenge.... have unchecked the private box so hope the bar is there in the morning.....

I'm probably a bit slow, but I can't figure out how to add rides to bike journal... well I can find where to add them, but the pages shows all the fields twice and doesn't have a 'save' button. Don't know if that's just me or not...

Good luck to everyone on their goals :D
