stromlo fastest way up?
Postby billygoat » Sun Jan 08, 2012 8:20 pm
My first post in these forums. Woo!
Just moved to Canberra and have been to stromlo once or twice. Dam I love it!
My only problem with the place is i have no idea which way is the fastest/easiest way up.
Last time I went straight to the right and past home view junction on the firetrail. And then up the track marked in blue on this map.

How do you get to the top?

but I find the best way to get to the top quickly is via helicopter.... those mtb trails look too hard!!! Good luck with them tho!

It is the most direct and fastest way up on a bike - though I can get up quicker in the V8.
+1, though I think my turbo'ed 240Z might pip you.

Nah I would smash you up there, you would have to fix at least two punctures on the way up in the car.

Dunno.... 1095kg and ~160Kw at the wheels makes for rapid progress.
But you are probably right about the punctures.
