Bit hot though and somehow ended up with headwind the entire trip  I thought I would get a small tailwind coming home!
This is a rule that never gets discussed.....
there is no such thing as a tailwind when you own a pushbike.  8)

Sailors could hire cyclists to make the wind blow in whatever direction they need. Just send a bunch of cyclists the other way.

Cell bib is wonderful. It felt 5x more comfortable. I didnt have to worry about any sharps blips in the road at all. Highly recommend for $39.
Getting the average near 26kmph now.

Purchased from the Link earlier on page one of this thread.
This weekend I am aiming for my first 50km ride since returning - but I have to put a few more gadgets on the bike as all my cycling so far has been done on a bare bones bike. I.e. no pump, tyre repairs, drink / bottle holder, lights or anything!

I've ordered one to try out but if it feels good and fits then I'll be getting some more. I'm really interested to know if there are any real differences between these and say those from Assos or Santini.

How did you find the bibs. Not bad hey?
I have found riding hills now is getting easier on the legs. I plan on hitting a 50km ride this weekend on the Gold Coast.
I have a question also - can you buy a decent seat pack with puncture kit and the minimal necessary tools ie. in a kit ready to go?
Or should I assemble a custom order from the net?
