No Coast To Coast!!

Is there anyone else pissed off that there is no Coast to Coast this year?

Apart from Ride Like Crazy, this was one of the best rides of the year.

They are replacing it with the Mt. Lofty Challenge - some challenge as you don't even ride up Eagle on the Hill, and also a ride that can be done any Sunday morning without the $65/$80 cost!!

The whole thing of the Coast to Coast finishing in Victor was making a day of it with the family. (Yes it too can be ridden any Sunday morning but it's not the same)

A bad decision for them to change it in my pissed off opinion!

Nope, not narked at all, as I never did the C2C. My main issue was the pain in getting back home.

The new ride goes up the freeway (closed off for ride) up to Crafers, so youy can't do the same ride.

The issue re the cost to do the same ride for free applies to EVERY ride there is where an entry fee is charged.

Some things chnage, and you can't keep everyone happy. Was discussed here at length before back in October.
