Helmet brands for pointy heads?

Postby stinhambo » Sun Jan 15, 2012 4:47 pm

I have on of those heads that bicycle helmets perch on. So in effect I look like a mushroom.

Are there any brands that accommodate this shape better so it looks like the helmet is fitting around my head and not on it?

I'm afraid it will be a case of trying on different brand helmet's, as different brands suit different shaped heads, and what might fit one pointy headed person, may not fit another pointy headed person.
I'm not sure what brands your local bike shop stocks, but that would be a starting point, unless you have already tried that, and thats why your on the forum.

Just wondered if there were any specific brands that might suit but I guess I'll have to get down to the local bike shops and try them all out.

I got a bit of a peanut head and I just got a garneau x-lite, medium size and it's very very comfortable
