Re: Expensive carmarkers enter bike market
Ok I'll bite - how does that hideous contraption improve anyone's image? On second thoughts it's probably no more ugly than the interior of a Spyker. I was going to buy a fast, stylish bike, but I looked in the mirror & thought "you're not fooling anyone, you know"
Re: Expensive carmarkers enter bike market
It is ugly, for sure.. But if a dutch car brand is making bicycles, knowing that in the netherlands the bikes are king, it wil improve their reputation, strange but true.. The dutch have one word to describe the aussie MHL, this word is ;
SCHIJNVEILIGHEID !!
Re: Expensive carmarkers enter bike market
Surely all the carbonistas out there would love that one? Right price bracket too. Riding bikes in traffic - what seems dangerous is usually safe; what seems safe is often more dangerous.

Re: Expensive carmarkers enter bike marketSurely they can give me some gold pedals for that price

Does nothing for me in exactly that same way the the standard Impec with red lugs doesn't. ![]() Wants! ...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

Re: Expensive carmarkers enter bike marketWhile I like Lamborghini, I prefer that anything carrying the name and badge has 12 cylinders, at least 6 litres and no less than 600hp. And is preferably rear-wheel-driven.

Lamborghini's are generally four wheel drive, or am I just being a smart A!
Re: Expensive carmarkers enter bike marketIf I was gonna get a Lamborghini...

Re: Expensive carmarkers enter bike market
I wish some Chinese make would start making copies of that frame that would fit a 20-speed groupset.
Re: Expensive carmarkers enter bike market
what the heck is that? it looks like it should have a horse pulling it
Re: Expensive carmarkers enter bike market
Agreed, Miura (the first super car) or nothing for me, most likely nothing. Mark
BMC Impec LamborghiniBMC have just announced this €20,000 bike with the Impec frame - Airbrush finish and handmade seat.
Uses Shimano Di2, Exclusive high profile rims which I understand means custom and there will only be 30 release. I am guessing these will all end up in showrooms and into collections... but wonder if any lamborhini owners will fit roofracks on their cars, can hardly expect this to fit in the boot. Well, I like it and should one end up on my door step would seriously have to consider the kit I would choose to ride this. ![]() ![]() BNA Feature: E-Bike Buyers Guide App on Now iTunes

Re: Expensive carmarkers enter bike marketWonder if there is a way to fit that to the top of your Diablo GTR?
AUBicycles: The LM002 will fit it easily: ![]() Carry your carbon-fibre roadie in the back of that. It might give angry motorists (you know, the type that are "bikes don't belong on roads") some reason to consider their thoughts. I'd reckon some Lambo owners will buy these bikes - some of them are pretty passionate about the brand and the history, particularly those with collections, eg, Miura, Countach, Diablo etc. You wouldn't use it though - too much of a collectors piece. Re: Expensive carmarkers enter bike marketWasn't the original 90's Mercedes bike a U.S made AMP research MTb bike, even had the unique AMP front pantagraph suspension fork.
Rumours abound of the release of the Kenworth bike 9 tonnes tare on air brakes. Rebadged Huffy Freeride apparently. Geoff

Hope there is no flaring from the exhausts on the overrun, or that Cervelo is going to be the hottest ticket in town. That Audi might be the latest thing for the Wörthersee Tour - but I doubt it'll convert the patrons. They'll prefer a W16 engined A3 or something like that. Doesn't interest me. Re: Expensive carmarkers enter bike market
To buy or to register ? 2,300W motor, top speed on elctric only 50km/h - IIRC the debate in Oz is whether we go from 200w to the eurpoean 250W with a 24km/h speed limiter. Only way to ride it in Oz will be on private land or if you register it as a motorbike I was going to buy a fast, stylish bike, but I looked in the mirror & thought "you're not fooling anyone, you know"
