That's a good price. Your not worried about warranty with those? I've been thinking about a set.AndrewBurns wrote: Mavic cosmic carbone SL wheels - $942.23

Warranty would be annoying, I'm hoping to not have to use it From what I hear the carbones are a very rugged wheelset anyway so I don't see there being too many problems.gassyndrome wrote:That's a good price. I bought an alloy frame with a carbon fork, carbon seatstays and headset a few months ago as NOS off ebay for $200 with the intention of building up another bike. Also got some Fulcrum 7's off this forum for $100. So I'm $300 in the hole before new year so I won't count them but so far this year I've got the following for the new bike:
Wiggle: 2 x Vittoria Diamante Pro tyres, 2 x tubes and Cinelli Bar tape: $98.30
c r c: FSA SL/K Seatpost, FSA Omega bars and pro-lite seatclamp: $95.25
Ribble: Campy Veloce groupset: $460.00 approx (haven't been billed for it yet even though it's been shipped)
LBS: Chain lube $8.95 (needed that for old bike anyway).
Total so far: $662.50
As I already have a spare saddle, pedals, stem and the Fulcrums came with a campy hub ($80 odd saved), I think I have everything I need when the grouppo arrives. $962.50 all up for a bike that should weigh in and perform at least as well as a shop bike that would cost at least $1200. Plus I'll have the fun of building it.

OEM bar tape was complete rubbish, Prologo cork tape is the business!
I've also ordered an 11-28 Ultegra cluster off Wiggle, $100ish from memory, it hasn't arrived yet....
The EMC is beautiful, climbs like a dream and is very comfortable. The Di is the icing on the cake! I am a strong convert.
