Tim, such long distances.  You must be a very disciplined man. The most I can do in Port Stephens would be 60km because it is soooooooooooo boring. Hats off to you Great work

Thanks Apple, knocked out 600 for the 9 days we were up there, pretty happy with that, had to overlap the routes a bit as well, but enjoyed it, Tim

Looks like you picked every possible safe route in the area. Same as you, I did not dare to venture further west on Nelson Bay Rd due to its lack of shoulder and speeding vehicles. It was a very nice area to ride with an interesting variety of terrain. Good enough for holiday riding but the restriction to the west will soon get boring.

Yeah great place to ride for holidays, was a refreshing change actually,loved it, but your right about venturing further west.Tim

If one has a MTB, there's the possibility of riding the coastal sand dunes to safely go west of the peninsula. It'd be a long detour.
