Well done Eleri, I can't wait to hear all about your great rides. Your riding is amazing. Have a great time in Bright and when you get back I would love to catch up with you agian.Eleri wrote:I've just spent a few days in Jindabyne staying with a friend at her place and we rode every day. Best ride was to Charlotte's Pass which is the highest road in Australia (and a very big climb up from Jindabyne). Now I am in Bright and am tapering for the ACE 250. For the first time ever (in memory and post computer) I have ridden over 1,000km in a month - done 1150 so far which is an amazing amount of time on the bike. And frankly, unsustainable!

After reading your post I rode today in the park for 30km, on my 650c wheels the Teschner. It feels fine. I was going to sell it on eBay and buy a BMC 700 wheels as the spare bike but I thought that I don't need it , I only want it.Eleri wrote:

I managed two rides this week one without rain and one with, not too bad considering the bucket loads of the stuff that has fallen up here this week....more still to come, sadly

I only rode twice this week as well Lisa. Today was overcast but perfect for riding ie no rain so we did 70kms and really enjoyed the ride. Really hope the weather clears up for you guys and us.

So over the rain, mould, ants invading everything and the musty smell from everything taking an age to dry
It's typical Brisbane summer weather but as it's been a few years since we've had 'typical' most of us have forgotten the 'joys' of a Brissy summer!
As long as this year we get to enjoy a 'typical' Brissy winter all will be forgiven
