Hi all, I'm really itching to get out and ride some form of competition this weekend in Sydney but as anyone here knows the rain we've been having is diabolical and I want to have some options in the event of rain.
My Saturday option is crit racing at heffron park however Saturday is looking less than secure weather wise. Sunday however is looking much better for rain but I'm not sure of any races being run on Sunday, does anybody know of any? I'm under 30 too so can't do any masters-specific races.

Apart from the Waratahs, the only race on EVERY Sunday at this time of year that I am aware of is Macarthur Collegians. I've never raced out there, but those who do say it's good.

Calga TT? I just had a search but couldn't find any real event info, seems like there are different course options and it starts at 8:00am? Looking at it I guess I'd go for the 25km option, I've never done a time trial before and haven't got any aero kit but I guess it could be fun.

This is it: http://63.247.141.188/~atta/
Most people do the 25km option. I did it last month with no kit at all have aero bars this month. There are some machines out there and it is a great progress tester. A good tough course and one of the only times you will get to do a proper TT.
Sign on is 7-9 I think but it says it on the website.

I'm hoping to get to Calga on Sunday, not the best preparation this week with hardly any riding due to the weather, but I've borrowed a TT helmet and I heard the road was resurfaced a couple of months ago so hope to beat my last time.

I was thinking about Calga TT again after failing to get there late last year. Would be my first visit. See how the weather goes!
