Re: GosfordThere's not much in the way of formal rides up our way. The St Hubert's Island Tri Squad (nice acronym) get together regularly. Central Coast Cycling Club doo too but you'd have to track either of them down to find out more. One of them leaves Michel's at West gosford shops around 7am on a Saturday morning.
Do you like hills? & or how far/fast are you thinking. I'm out early, usually 6 - 6:30 on a Sat, I usually ride solo but welcome a bit of company every now and then. FoM 15 Bikes 2 adults 6 children, 3 dogs, 4 chooks and a heck of a lot of fish
Re: GosfordCentral Coast Cycle Club have their own forum which usually posts their training / group / coffee rides. They usually start from West Gosford Shops or Terrigal.
I did a few rides with them, great guys, but I stopped going as I had no interest in joining a cycling club and prefer to ride solo, the whole coffee thing doesn't really float my boat. http://www.impactcycling.com.au/index.p ... d,3.0.html CJ __________________________________________

Re: GosfordThanks for your replys.
Prob looking at avg 28-30kms/hr and dont really care how long. Am happy to ride solo but was hoping for a couple of longer group rides in the weekend so I can get to know where to ride. I have looked on that forum but it looks like I will have to join. Will see what happens when I arrive. Thanks Kaz
Re: GosfordNo need to join - you only need to join a club when you want to race. Normally Central coast cycling club go at 6.30am ex terrigal pub or 7am west gosford shops on sat and sun. Ride lenght depends and varies from 70km - 120km.
