Re: MT Wellington ChallengeIf you are willing to wait a few minutes, I have to ride from Kingston at 5pm but would like to join you. Family have given the go-ahead

Re: MT Wellington ChallengeOr even better, you ride south on Sandy Bay Rd until we meet up and then we head towards the mountain. No sitting around for you then, you can ride as hard or as easy as you like

Re: MT Wellington ChallengeCool, see you somewhere between Sandy Bay and Kingston! You'll be able to spot me because I'll be on a two-wheeled contraption heading towards town. *must get some food before riding!*

Re: MT Wellington ChallengeAh, just realised why I was feeling hungry: my lunch is still in the fridge. Daft bugger that I am.

Re: MT Wellington Challenge
Rob why not race? the crit is on the day before not the same day when do we stop for coffee???
Re: MT Wellington ChallengeBecause my legs will be smashed from the crit. 25mins plus 3 laps at 90% threshold, jumps, sprints, surges attacks this is my style of racing.

Re: MT Wellington ChallengeI am also going to ride to longley from home, just to add some extra love to a hard day.
Re: MT Wellington Challenge
if you can still climb Mt Wellington you havent critted hard enough Sprinters sprint. Climbers climb. Cant do both well. So I opt for the crit. ![]()
Re: MT Wellington Challenge
i will ride with you Skull.......from South Hobbit Town though when do we stop for coffee???
Re: MT Wellington ChallengePeople seem to manage during stage races.
Also I can't climb but I do enjoy the hurt and training value from it. EDIT: I can't sprint either, just like to do lots of riding.
Re: MT Wellington ChallengeWith no science to back it up, for me two hard days in a row are ok, although the 3rd needs to be easy!
