Hopefully you make it there, don't worry to much if you miss it, theres plenty of other rides over the next few months. BicycleSA'S website has all the info. The grand slams are pretty good as the start and finish are at the same place, so it makes it a lot easier!
Starting at Eagle for the coast to coast wouldn't be a bad idea if you don't manage to get much riding in.

I'll be kicking off from Eagle on the Hill, seen as a I live nearby and its only the second competitive ride above 70km I have endured.
One step at a time for me

I'm sitting this one out.....after the tour ride I realised how much work I have to do before attempting any more......
Training is under way, and the grand slam series sounds good

sounds like a plan!!!
I've had a training hault due to some health issues. Waiting on some results in relation to my kidneys so if that comes through all clear I'll be really looking forward to just getting out and riding with some fellow cyclists, by going for the challange, rather than a race.

No stops, apart from the Victor Harbour road crossing.
2 hours 52 minutes
Avg. speed 34 km/hr
The first 30km was excellent, the scenery was magnificent. I'll be heading up there soon to do it all again.

I didn't make it to the coast to coast in the end but sounds like it was a good ride, was told it was a fun fast course.
Did the first ride of the BikeSA grandslam series this morning at Gumeracha. They reduced it to 47kms because of the weather forecast but it was a good loop. Not sure how many started the ride as we set off half an hour early.
