Yep, all unicycle - I had to give the bike to a deserving student due to some issues with my body. I probably spend more time riding than many but the maximum intensity that I can apply is not as great as a seriously intent rider can. But it is still capable of giving me hard long sweat and I don't ever get to coast. I only use a 24" ungeared "trainer" so the distance I have set for the year is probably about the practical limit to what I can do and is not a certainty. I was scrutinising the log I maintain and it seems that maybe around September or October I will get past 20,000km on the beast. That's about 2,000hours of riding. So am wondering what I should do to mark the occasion. Perhaps take a day off? Naaah. Certainly not.
Unicyclist's don't need a training wheel

Hey Mate, I've noticed that there is nothing at all in the area for your signature, have you put the info into you're signature yet... if you have something should be showing up, either your progress bar or 2012 missing data should be there... Click user - User Control Panel (top left of screen), then click profile, second button from the left (as seen below) then click edit signature. Once you have that done, copy the link as I have in mine, swapping my user name with yours dino1969 as it appears on BJ and then click submit. That should work once you have followed everything else.

Hey mate, no drama's glad to help. It seems to have gone a bit weird in your signature. Try this - On your signature box you can see a number of buttons, in the middle is the Img one, in your signature click it and between the [img] [img] place this link http://philip.whatsbeef.net/bike/bna/dino.jpg I just tried it in mine for you and the '2012 missing data sign came up' which means by 12am tonight (fingers crossed) it'll work for you.

Dino, the problem with your sig may be that you have not unticked the "private goals" box in the bikejournal profile options. Log on to bikejournal, mouse over the riders menu item, then "edit my profile" and go down to list till you see "Distance Goal for 2012:". Under the "Goal bar color:" you'll see a tickbox that states "Keep my goals private. Uncheck this if you want others to be able to view your goals from your profile view." Make sure that the box is unticked then click the "Apply Changes" button at the bottom of the page. I'd link a screenshot for you, but i'm at work and the stupid thin clients we have prevent me uploading to photobucket.
Good luck.

Realised that after last nights commute I was sitting on 970km YTD, so I felt obliged to go out and knock off the extra 30km today. I was really enjoying my ride this evening, feeling good; but as i got closer to home i realised i would come up 2km short!!!! Nothing for it but to add in a loop of the Australian Road Race circuit; so after one of the most glorious descents you will find on a bike (Fisken Ave), i clocked over 30km for tonight's ride at roughly the same point that Simon Gerrans kicked away to win the Australian Champions jersey about 6 weeks ago - alas i wasn't remotely going anywhere near his speed. Then, i got to climb the hill (cat 4) - definitely climb like a sprinter. 1004km for the year, 8983m climbed. I love the progress bar-great idea! It is keeping me honest. Many thanks to Live to Ride for sorting out my signature/progress bar. Happy riding!
Merida 903 from the LBS-nothing fancy... but you haven't seen me ride (nothing fancy)

Just wondering.....
Does anyone sitting in the top ten of the ACF Bike Journal leaderboard, actually have a day job? and if so, where do you find the time to work?
(BTW - Well done)

As Jezza75's wife, I can testify that yes, he does have a job. It's just that it is 40km from our house, and because he rides to and from work 5 days a week, 400km in commute alone per week adds up.
Then you have his fun rides on the weekend. And when we have to go down to Busselton, he has been known to set out very early and ride his bike down, and I'll meet him at the Fat Duck in Busselton that afternoon.
So yes, he does work. But he just rides a lot too.
