How difficult is Sydney Harbour Bridge

I've suffered injury's in a cycling accident and while I heal I have been lent an Ebike.

I'm wondering considering my injurys how difficult will it be to get the Ebike down the stairs and up the stairs?

Ouch. Hope the injuries aren't "cycling threatening" too much. I guess it depends on the design of the e-bike. Assuming it has only got one motor (in the wheel?) that'll be "heavy" end, probably with the batteries in the centre for balance, so perhaps just lift the "light" end and wheel the bike on the heavy wheel. My "big" trike weighs in at about 38 kg, with the motor in the rear hub and the batteries low down under the seat. I CAN pick it up totally, but it's awkward (probably more so than a bicycle), so I usually wheel on the heavy wheel, and carry the front by the frame/wheel boom, when going through the door on the patio.

Have you got a piccy we can look at?

Can't see the px from work, but I'd think the electric motor would give you some assistane going up, and the brakes would help going down. While not in the same league weight-wise, I've negotiated the stairs with a fully-laden set of panniers inclcuding laptop and chager, so would think you'd be OK - subject of course to your injuries.

gururug, that was a strategy that crossed my mind, as I could carry the guys bike up with my left hand while they push the ebike up.

I took it for a test ride today and it kept cutting out, I'm going to have to admit defeat on taking it as far from home as the SHB

I've passed middle-aged women riding e-bikes across the Bridge. That doesn't spell
difficult to me, at least if we were talking about fit and healthy people. If you've
not moved too far off the super-fit and healthy end of the spectrum, it should
be a challenge you can relish.

My legs are fine, its the upper body that's screwed, hence the concern about getting it up and down the stairs. I'm not suppose to use my right arm.

As it's got throttle control, you should be just able to use that. I don't think you'll have any issues. My Ebike weighs around 30kg with the pannier full of work stuff attached to it and I've no troubles pushing it up the stairs. Front wheel spins a bit sometimes if I push the throttle too hard. You certainly won't need to lift it at all.

I've not yet tried riding up the ramp...

I'd be more worried about the cutting out issue...

Make sure you've recently tried charging the battery. If it's drained, it'll cut out with the low voltage protection.

I'm going to get the cutout issue looked at.

The throttle is on the right hand and it's my right collarbone that's broken, hence the complexity

What about this...
Stand on the right of the bike (I know it's all wrong isn't it:-)
Control the throttle and steer with your right hand
Hold the bike on the seat with your left hand doing all the work

In any case, I expect you'll find it easy enough - if you can't push the bike, I'm sure that one of your fellow SHB cyclists will help you.
