Its most likely re-install and grease spindle surfaces to try and eliminate the small creaking noise. ( I hoping its coming from there. I’ve eliminated all other elements that might be responsible )thomas_cho wrote:Those BB cups dont really have serviceble bearings. They are "sealed".

Usually, unless done immediately the noise appears, the bearings are shot anyway and this is an exercise is extendnig the inevitable by a few weeks only.MountGower wrote:Sveky
Sometimes you can lever open the seal and regrease the bearing and clip the seal back on.
If it's a creaking noise it's usually because the BB retention cap isn't quite tight enough.
