Thanks in advance.
Answer from a newbie here! I used this http://www.cyclingdeal.com.au/buy/conve ... ptor/FK-02
Looks the same. I think you need the tensioner thing if you dont want to alter your chain? I just cut my chain to suit and I have never had a problem. I thought the tensioner looked messy. I used the single speed conversion kit so that I had the option of going back to cluster. The adaptor washers let you set up your chain line pretty accurately. I can post a pic if you need. Super easy to fit. I did also buy the fitting tool but it was very cheap from the guys at Cycling Deal in Vic.
has anyone experienced biopace on a single speed/fixie i love biopace so smooth but dont know how the chain will handle.
is it best to get a new BB for her and or new crankset.
THanks geoff will buy from them they are cheaper.
Thanks for the response guys
I may be able to help if you need some rings...

Bio pace in theory will work fine. I haven't tried it myself but think about it..
At one poin the bio pace ring will be in the 'tall' position with 50% of the teeth engaged by the chain, and at the 'short' point (perpendicular to the tall) the chainring will still have 50% of the teeth engaged again.
Only one way to find out!
In theory, biopace works.
You dont need a ghost ring. It's only used in the above example to take up a ton of chain slack from either a wrong length chain/lack of adjustability in the drop outs.
