Re: QUEENSLAND ROAD RULES FOR CYCLISTS
In my experience it is much safer to get into the centre lane and act like a car i.e. take the lane. Having to give way to a vehicle coming up behind you that can legally cut in front of you is an accident waiting to happen.
Re: QUEENSLAND ROAD RULES FOR CYCLISTSYes I whole heartly agree that law is completely stupid and gives some knowable bogon the right to run a cyclist off the road.
This is one of the laws that the CBD BUG wish the government to have amended. That said Multi-lane roundabouts in many cases are just plain dangerous. Give me a single lane roundabout or a lighted intersection. Donald BCC give us some more bikeways fore safe travel!!!!

Re: QUEENSLAND ROAD RULES FOR CYCLISTSYou might want to update or delete this thread as I clicked on the link and got "Requested page not found".
If I can find an updated link, I will post it.
Re: QUEENSLAND ROAD RULES FOR CYCLISTSDo I need to keep my head light at a certain angle between the front fork and the road? I've got a new Lezyne light and it is really bright. I'm afraid I'll blind drivers/other cyclists with it.
