Hello People,
A friend who is new to cycling is looking for a fairly uninterrupted loop starting in Greenacre. He wood love a 60 km loop but would definitely settle for a 30 km loop. At the moment he either rides the cooks river trail which has a lot of stop starting or he throws the bike into the car and drives to olympic park and does some laps until he gets bored.
I really don't know the area well so I can't give him any suggestions.
Any help you all could provide would be much appreciated.

He could try a bigger loop around SOP/Rhodes/Silverwater. From Greenacre to SOP (via Cooks River cycleway), Rhodes, Meadowbank, Parramatta River Cycleway west to Silverwater Rd, south on Silverwater Bridge, then back along southern bank to Louis Savage Pathway, South on that to John Ian Wing Parade, left on Hill Rd, right Old Hill Link, right on Edwin Flack Ave, then around the loop to Australia Ave.

Thanks WombstK,
Please forgive my ignorance but what is SOP an acronym for?

Has he tried using the cycling mapping sites? They show where cycle paths are, so you can plan a route to incorporate them.

I use bikemap to plot a potential route, then use google street view to check what the conditions might be like on any busy roads I might ride on. It shows the elevation map when you save the route as well.
