Midi-Smiddy 2012

Hi all, it's been awhile since i've posted (done a bit of lurking though). Congrats to all those who got PB at the Coot-tha Challenge, those that didn't, aim up for next year.
I've got a little challenge coming up in June, i'll be tackling the Midi-Smiddy ( http://www.smiddy.org.au/page/home/Sect ... Challenge/ ), just a gentle 3 days ride . I've noted that on day one it covers a bit of the Ipswich 100 course in reverse - that should be fun
Is anyone else doing the ride?

G'day Mick, the midi-Smiddy surely is a great event but obviously requires a high level of fitness and endurance.
It is beyond my capability, and I believe there is a training rides program for this event.
The distance is formidable and June on the Downs can deliver strong headwinds and cold weather.
The Tour of Toowoomba Endeavour Challenge is also in June.
