I do a 13km ride each way to uni 4 times a week. Wareemba to Surry Hills.

How long is your daily commute and where does it start/end?

Rhodes to Sydney CBD days a week, about 18 to 19kms each way depending on route.

Some days I'll hit up training in SOP, or go to work via Bondi for hills.

I do about 60 km per day, I don't go the direct route. Not every day ~2-3 times per week.

The biggest commute I ever heard of was a former National level rider, who was going from the Southern Highlands to western Sydney, return trip, about 240 km per day. He didn't do it every day, but he did it regularly.

that's pretty big.
I used to do 55km each way (110km day) twice a week but I've been particularly lazy lately...

Moore Park -> Sydney Olympic Park around 3-4 times a week for work. About 19km each way. Takes around 35-40minutes.

Doonside to Blacktown nearly every work day - 9km each way - I do wish it was further and sometimes make it further with a long detour if time allows.

I do try to ride everywhere else I go and make trips in the car the exception not the rule.
Not fast, no style, but still get there.

Used to be 60km a day round trip with hills, but have changed roles for a period of time and point-to-point is about 38km.

I'm looking for options to lengthen the route with hill repeats etc, have managed to get it up to 25km with soem hill repeats.

Don't ride every day, I need to leave some in the tank for longer weekend training rides.

These days it is about a 150m round trip and I don't usually ride. Sometimes I get the bike out and ride around the campus just for fun.

60k round trip, once a week or twice if I can organise for that. East Hills to Sydney CBD. Sometimes do LACC laps in the morning instead.

Work/Uni - same thing!

I have now decided the round trip in winter will be just under 36KM, in summer I do about 37.5KM. Different route as I use more of the bike path in winter when it is dark. I could do it in 25KM but take a longer route, this serves me well if I'm running late as I can just go direct instead.

It varies as I drop and add extra train legs and do a fair bit of wandering as the mood takes me.

However I do keep it all on the trip meter which tells me that from start of year to this morning I have done 2,079km.

So, for this year, a very satisfying 20km a day seven days a week I usually do not do much or any on Saturday so maybe 23.5km a riding day.

I continue riding every work day without fail all year come rain or shine though the distances will come down a fair bit for about five months of winter.

The trick is to book a trip on the indian pacific and then ride up and down the aisle for an hour or two. You get to cover several hundred kms at an average speed of, say, 100kph! Take some rollers and do the whole distance and then you can say you rode to Adelaide or Kalgoorlie or whatever.

I ride three days a week, 12-13Km each way, All on road between Marrickville and King St Wharf, I could do it in about 9, but I prefer to take the safer route up through Lilyfield and Pyrmont rather than the hellstorm that is King St and riding through the city.

Hoping to do four days a week, but I think I need a different seat, I'm pretty 198cm tall and solidly built, so the narrow seat isn't doing me any favours.
