I'll be there. The Brompton has been washed and I've put on the tweed.

Well done to all those involved and also especially well done to the organisers. Another fantastic addition to the mix of cycling opportunities to all and sundry. Anything that gets as many people involved in our pursuit as possible has to be good for everyone.

I've already asked on another thread but i'm getting desperate, where do you lot get your outfits? I'm trying to source gear for myself and my girlfriend for this year's Noosa L'Eroica show but i'm hitting brick walls everywhere i go, the op shops have turned up nothing.

Yeah I got my stuff from the Salvos. No actual tweed in my last one, it was more old school Aussie. Shirt/tie and long sleeve V neck aussie wool jumper. 70's suit pants and a tartan hat

Keep checking them because they get new stuff all the time, its just pretty random.

I have seen new tweed hats for sale at Salamanca market but they were stupidly expensive. Specially with some of the Op shop stuff is brand new. That jumper I got had the tags on it.

About 10pm tonight when my head hits the pillow Mr Master.

Good idea though. Well its better than wearing the tweed under my bmc kit just to stay warm 8)

Thanks for your tips, i've come up with a pair of brown corduroy trousers, matched to a long sleeve shirt and wollen vest that i got from Lowes of all places.

21st and 22nd of July, there's a thread on here (http://www.bicycles.net.au/forums/viewt ... lit=eroica) and the event website www.noosa-eroica.com.au. Oh and on facebook too! Looking to be HUGE this year, people coming from as far as sydney and melbourne. It's astonishing how quickly and how much it's grown, a real credit to cotterpin531 and spinner who came up with the idea and are organising it all.
