I'll go down the track tonight and put a big gear on and try and emulate those sprinters.

That's funny I did a stranger ride last week. We had a nice chat but he wanted to ride too fast and I couldn't do both at once http://app.strava.com/rides/6746945 51km to Luddenham and back.

LOL, yes same, my stranger didn't like it when I rode faster in some parts, but I was not in my best form. He was nice and a great rider.lovemybike wrote:Apple wrote:Bobbin head today with a stranger 61km

Did a lovely, although hilly, ride out the back of Toowoomba this morning, despite the cool conditions and light misty rain, I kinda wish that this was in my backyard and not a 2 hour drive away....
Mr MM went racing up there yesterday and we stayed overnight with some friends and had a great night at the local country pub...

In the middle of nowhere almost
Toowoomba is 2 hours drive west of Brisbane and the area that we rode is north/east of there.....stunning countryside but I was riding too hard to stay with my group to stop to take any pics...if I'd lost sight of my group I'd still be out there trying to find my way home
No wonder my friend is so good at riding up hills with rides like that in her backyard!!!

No, I wanted to go but I was rostered on as ride leader on the normal Waterfall ride. My partner went though and came back exhausted having ridden 140km and four gorges.

Thanks for sharing PA Would the old girl like to join our forum, in the womens section ,PA wrote:My wife, Marilyn never ventures onto the forum. When she is at the computer it's to post a cute picture of her puppy on Facebook or research for her Doctorate. She does log her rides on Strava http://app.strava.com/athletes/380148 using my iPhone expect if we are doing a longer ride as it only lasts around 2.5 hours. She has ACF listed as her club on Strava. Our target is 6000 for the year and at the moment it's looking good but I guess we will have to see how winter affects us.
Maybe we could start a swingers club.I am going to check her out on Srava
