Don't know about the LACC guys but we copped the headwind out to waterfall and again from about Sutherland back into the inner west, really took the stuffing out of me.

Just starting to get nippy for the commutes, warm days but cold nights. Really gotta grab those sunsleeves to suck out the windchill a bit, kneewarmers would help as well. I don't mind the cold but my joints don't cope with a 31 year old office worker attacking hills like an 18 year old in this weather.

Good ride this morning - rode to with the rest of the clan to school and then onto work. Slow first half of the trip but good to see Mrs westab enjoying her new bike. The westab clan are keen for more cycling now that mum has her bike.

Long term it should save us a little bit of money but most of all it is something we all enjoy doing together. :D

Big headwind heading out thismorning, had a tail wind half way home & missed the rain, not a bad result overall.

Nice ride on Saturday morning with the Bike North group. Perfect weather which was probably responsible for the very good turn out. We stopped at Pie in the Sky where we got to see the 'Sydney to Brisbane' charity riders pass through. They were in for a long day on the way to their overnight destination of Newcastle.

Lovely morning commute today - cool at the start, but very pleasant once I'd climbed the first hill. Full fingered gloves and arm warmers worked well. Met a few friendly riders on the road and most motorists seemed to be in a good mood as well.

Ride safe, all.

Good ride in this morning - enjoyed it.

Cool but not cold - I think we are in for a cold winter so I am begining to line up the thermals.
Need to find some warmer gloves over the next few weeks - not for me but for Mrs Westab - and she wants pink (not again)  the worst thing is then she wants me to ride with her.
Currently - Pink bike, pink bibon, pink basket, pink helmet, and she wants anything else pink for her bike - then she wonders why I give her a hard time about her favourite colour when she tells me she's not obsessed with pink - the good thing is she loves riding her pink bike.
No.2 kid is currently having bike envy as she too wants all things pink - but she has to wait till she grows out of her current bike. The funny thing is I caught her hanging on the play equipment with her arms with her 25kg younger brother holding her legs - when I asked what they were doing their answer was trying to speed up the growing process so they could get new bikes   Kids got to love them.

The roads were a bit damp in the east. I took a chance and left the wet weather bike at home because I just love riding the Bosevskki 8)
Great ride.

Good ride in this morning - the fog that was there earlier cleared on the ride in. The rain overnight and the grass cutting along the shared path for the last km made things a little hairy on the grip front. They had just started mowing but wet grass on a wet path - I slowed right down.

Beautiful if a bit chilly early.
I met a Japanese bloke at the lookout at Otford who Had cycled from Cairns and was headed to Melbourne and then Tassie.
Massive effort good on you Yuniko :D
Anyway the Otford Wall is still hard but not too daunting these days.
Hope you have a great ride.

+1 to getting cold.

Two rides this morning - the first at 6am to pray with a mate and then to work at 8am the first one felt cold but the second was very enjoyable.
I think this winter is going to be a read cold one.

+2 It was starting to cut in a bit. Going to HAVE to get winter gloves, it's just too cold on the hands. Unsure how much of a hardman I can be as far as the legs go, so far so good

Freezing this morning, but so worth it, new tactic is, 30mins on the trainer before I head out, warms me up!

Cool indeed it was. First ride for a while after battling a 'flu virus all last week. The first part of my trip is usually pretty chilly until I climb the first hill. Didn't want to get chilled after last week, so it was full winter regalia this morning - arm warmers, leg warmers, and a gillet until I got to the hill. Managed to get every single red light on the way (and stopped for all of them :D ) so it was slow trip, but the legs and lungs felt fine.

Another cold one - but not too bad. The new gloves are good except for the usual gap at my wrist.

Will look to solve this over the next week or so. :D
