Sorry to hear that you're back is bad again, swimming would be good I guess.

80k's this morning, a fast (for me) shop ride and average of 28+ including riding in from home, so the actual ride was probably closer to the 29-30k average
Fortunately, for my tired legs there was another rider who was struggling with the pace so when we got dropped at Capalaba I helped him back to the cafe for the return leg...the poor bloke has only been in the country 3 days and had no idea where he was...as well as getting used to riding on the 'wrong' side of the road!

I need to keep doing this bunch ride as I'm sure it will be good for me!

Apple, would love to come down and ride with you and Julie...I'm sure that you'd both leave me for dead

Likewise, if you're up in Brisbane I'd love to show you around :)

I did Blayney to Bathurst Extreme on the weekend - ended up being 145km instead of 160km because of a crash that diverted us around the big climb. Have to do that next year. Pretty happy with my ride overall and rode the fastest I ever have in a long ride.

I was thinking of doing around the bay in a day, have you done that one.

I forced myself to go to swim squad again today, it was nice

No - never done it. It's flat so will suit you more than me. You are faster than me on the flat for sure. I get bored. And it involves packing the bike up and going to Melbourne which all seems a bit hard.

Good you went swimming today. The weather seems to have gotten colder all of a sudden.

I went riding this morning and it just didn't feel right so I turned around at 10km and came home to pig out
So Around the bay is flat. :? I need some hills. I am still thinking about it.

No ride for me today, family stuff calls louder than cycling on ANZAC Day, even though today is the 2 year anniversary of my journey into cycling :D

Apple & I rode 70kms up and down mountains from Bobbin Head to Brooklyn and back again just so I could have coffee at Pie in the Sky. It was worth it.

It won't let me! We'll just stick with jacket and bee sting story - apart from the fact that you do not look fat at all!!
