They look great! flat lock stitching is preferred, not so sure about the silicon thingy though. I'd prefer a bibshort as well.

+1 flat lock

Silicon is probably worth it for us larger lads.

Status Update - finalising the designs and details with the supplier - so it is moving forward.

On the yellow stripe - it bothered me and I was hoping for the white reflective stripe though the problem in the position is the cost and problem with stretch of the fabric. So in opting for the reflecting lining on the seems (sides and across the pocket) we can keep the cost down and provide a great safety function white retaining the style.

The back pocket reflective stripes on the last round of jersey's proved quite popular - so the extras (long zipper, reflective lining and flatloc) mean an increase in pricing however resulting top notch jersey that I think will be distinctive and attractive.

For interest, I am calling this the 2013 range/model... but will be available this year... so everyone can get theirs early :)

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Orders for the 2013 (new season) BNA Kit is now starting. It is a soft launch as there may be questions or inconsistencies and I will resolve this before the billboards go up. If you spot any errors or even make a mistake when ordering, just let me know: info@bicycles.net.au

Order Your 2013 BNA Kit Here

I am including additional information below, and welcome questions and comments.

Order process
This is a group order, so I am collecting orders and payment up to May 31. 2012 and then submitting the order.
Once an order request is submitted, (tracked) postage will be calculated (at the lowest price for the estimated weight) and a payment request will be sent.
The production will take 8-12 weeks (socks have the longest production time) then allow some time for processing and delivery in Australia.
If payment is not complete, your order will not be placed

Sizing
A sizing chart has been provided (on the order page). Jerseys are a race cut so for a looser fit, it is suggested to choose one size up.

Group Orders
Sure - it is probably easiest if one person submits the complete order and also looks after the money. Probably best to email me. If you would like to look after a group order for your region, easiest is to post a reply in this thread.

Supplier
For the Jerseys and Knicks, the supplier is Tineli.
The short sleeve jerseys have a full length zip and reflective piping on the back.
Both the jerseys and knicks will have flatloc stitching

Special Deal - $198 Kit
On the order page a deal is highlighted, for $198 you get a jersey (blue strada or black corsa), knicks (bib or standard) and socks. This will save you a few dollars.

Image

You can also grab a BNA Polo, these are 100% DriWear polyester. Black with yellow highlights on the sleeves and front buttons. It is quite sporty and comfortable though worth emphasising that it isn't cotton. The logo is embroided. Here is 'yours truely' doing a bit of modelling for you.

The BNA Caps are US made, one size fits all with a very comfortable and wide elastic inside. On the side are 'Learn, Share, Love Cycling' and under the peak BNA.

They look great. Do you have an idea of what the chamois will be like?

I don't want to sound picky, I just want to be sure before lining up...

Won't the BNA text on the shoulders of the jersey appear upside down when riding?
...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

Isn't there one facing each direction?

Or am I missing something?

Cheers

On the Chamois it is described by Tineli "Our famous Luxury Blue chamois is unrivalled for comfort. It is seamless with bi-directional stretch to minimise chafing and has quad density padding for maximum comfort." It is also noted as being "Double stitched chamois for uncompromised durability."

Regarding BNA on the shoulders/arms, think about when you reach your hands forward, on both left and right with hands forward, the BNA will be up the correct way. Likewise on the side it is intended to be the right way when riding. That said, it is a little difficult in this position though as an aethetic / graphic element may be less obvious and more subtle on the finished product.

Take a look at this graphic.. I spent good time to ensure the orientation of the text was correct.
This is a very simple demonstration though should how it fits together left and right side.

Make sense now?

ok, my impression was the 'BNA' would sit on the shoulder and be readable head-on, your image makes it clearer where this text will sit. Thanks for the clarification.

Alrighty then, I'm convinced. Now the big question is Corsa or Strada, decisions decisions...

easy... both!
I am keen on the race version - Corsa Black though agree that on the road visibility is important so will get a few Blue Strada's as well.

Do want,

Currently broke. Just paid Bond, month rent in advance, current serviced apartment costs till I move into rental, diners bill, and removals = 10K+ worth of bills.
So poor now that until pay day in mid may I cannot afford to buy any treats, in fact I am going to have to get uni student on the food for the next fortnight.

Hopefully have money again before end of may.

I am aiming to stock up on a few standard sizes as there is always always demand after ordering is closed - will be standard sizes though best to send me an email and note the gear and sizes that you would prefer. It would also be first come first serve though will encourage me get your sizes in stock and give you a good chance.

A followup ... the majority of people who expressed interest havn't followed up yet so I am keen to get feedback. In best case, to get the orders in sooner rather than later. That said, the tally was to test the general interest and began before the final design and pricing was available so am also interested in feedback if some members are no longer interest (for these or other reasons).
