Geez, my record would be measured in the thousands, but I don't have video on the bike.newbikeorupgrade wrote:Just wondering in half an hour what is the most number of cars you have overtaken?

How is this possible? Well, when we could still access the M2, I have on occasion ridden it when there has been an accident blocking all lanes except for the shoulder bicycle lane. So, all the cars were stopped with engines off and I simply rolled past km after km of traffic jam.
Likewise, I have done this on Gore Hill Fwy/Epping Rd for the entire length from Naremburn to Epping due to car accidents (which is about at the 30 minute limit).

That'd be one of Trailgumbys efforts, loved itfind_bruce wrote:Someone posted a lovely video recently of all the cars the passed on the way to the spit bridge in Sydney - it would have to be more than 100. I haven't been able to find it again though, sorry about that
I'm too busy grinning to care about numbers.

You'll need to so a search but I think it was 32 moving cars in 30 min, so extrapolate that. There was a whole thread about it, pretty competitive too. Too many rules for my liking though. Be such a fun idea if you started it up again. It was really popular back in the day.newbikeorupgrade wrote:Just wondering in half an hour what is the most number of cars you have overtaken?

assume each car occupies a 5m space
9000/5 = 1800 cars

Ah yes - during the Indooroopilly bridge maintenance work. What a pain, got caught up in it myself once.Marto wrote:Here is one of mine from 2 years ago. Never bothered to count.
Pretty impressive video record. I have one similar somewhere but I think yours trumps it.

And not one of 'em took enough umbrage at you destroying the smokebox advertising paradigm to carve you up...trailgumby wrote:

Briz, that'd be a GoPro on chest mount.

I've been looking around for a couple of bike cameras. One to mount on the helmet and one on the seat post. I'm considering this model.

I think the camera would have then been a Hero2. That has been shifted to seat post duties and a Hero3 Black has replaced it up front.
I have no idea how many cars I passed...,but it wasn't nearly enough
