Bike Box Carrier

Bike Box Carrier

Postby liamb » Thu May 17, 2012 10:33 pm

Hi South Australians.

I am heading to Syd on the Weekend of July 13, 14, 15. My mate over there wants to go for a ride and I need to get my bike over there on the plane. Has anyone out there got a carrier/ box I could borrow for the weekend. I am happy to pay with Beer/ Wine/ Spirits/ Cash. I would like my own Box but not sure I can justify the expense at this stage for possibly 1 or 2 trips

Yeah Bill, I got a hardcase doing nothing. Wheelbags, etc as well. Excellent protection, this thing's been across the US, Europe, UK. Drawback? It's big, probably won't fit in your standard taxi. PM me.

Your local bike shop would most likely give you a cardboard bike box. It will save them space in their bin.
In the morning, we RIDE.
