A segregated path would be nice but a "normal" on-road cycling lane like Federal Highway would be sufficient.

I heard a Pedal Power rep on the radio talking about it. They are pushing for a dedicated path but I couldn't see it would benefit very many people at that location.

I think it would see massive massive use if it was done properly. Keeping in mind Majura Pines is right there too and Gungahlin will soon see around 90,000 people living there. Pedal Power aren't lobbying for it just for the sake of it.
