I'd like a jersey with this printed as if hanging on me back

If it were legal I’d open carry 24/7.

Use two bottle cages, one with brake fluid, sprayed onto paint work will make a nice statement.

Just be sure to drink from the right one :)

Hit by a bus!

Postby twizzle » Sun May 27, 2012 7:57 pm

Today a mate of mine admitted to filling someone's exhaust system... and engine... with expanding foam.

Wads of newspaper ramed home with a broomstick work just as well. But I do like the expanding foam idea. I take it you can buy it in spray cans, and it then cures and hardens when released?

I guess carrying a broomstick when cycling would be hard to explain, unless you can mention a clean fetish.

What would one use then, to ram home the newspaper ? :D

Since when do you need to explain to anybody why you are carrying said object? :?: :?:

Interestingly I didn't receive any road rage or close passes when I was riding around with an ice axe sticking outside of my bag. True story.**

**This was a total of two times. Not exactly a scientific study. The majority of my rides I don't get raged or passed closely.

But seriously. Police aren't on patrol looking out for people carrying items that look out of place.

Knives, ice axes, broomsticks. If you can't think of a good explanation then you aren't trying. I've walked into court houses before with a large knife in my pocket. I put it in the tray at the metal detectors and they didn't bat an eye lid. It just got tagged and told I should pick it up on the way out.

no, they are. if you look like a homeboy, cruising around with your homies and a baseball bat in the car, you can easily find yourself being charged/infringed for it.

They'll also search you car for drugs if they see a spoon inside it. I know this. it happened to me. (No, I didn't have any.)

p.s. Glad the bus didn't squash you!

Maybe some people got the wrong end of the stick from my post. I merely was carrying ice axe because it needed to be transported. I carry a knife on me pretty much wherever I go, its a tool not a weapon. In fact I don't believe it would at all aid me in a situation where somebody threatened violence to me.

I don't condone or encourage carrying of any weapon, or multi-purpose device that you consider can be used as a weapon if you desire to. I don't believe that I live in a society or a community where one is at all necessary.

On the flip side I do believe all this talk about getting stopped by the police and having bags search is absolutely laughable. It simply isn't going to be happening. People are just conjecturing unlikely reaction by police in the event that there is an even more unlikely epidemic of expanding foam in exhaust pipes. If I want fantasy I'll stick to Game of Thrones.

Maybe I'm just naive but I feel safe 100% from violence in Australia. Unfortunately I don't feel 100% safe from idiocy behind heavy vehicles.

Extra tube on the end of the nozzle, injected some to start with and pushed forwards with the tube slowly while injecting, once it had a good plug behind it he emptied the entire contents of the can into the exhaust. The recipient was overheard talking about the results.

Okay, but how do I get my newspaper in without a broomstick?

No doubt it does. I'm happy that personal experience hasn't (totally) destroyed my faith in society. I'll continue act and go about my business like nobody means me violence.
