I usually sit up and watch most of what they show of the Grand Tours. If I can.

And Rasmussen too. Will still start the Giro, but with stitches.

And now Canc has ligament issues in his shoulder as well.

world's fastest cyclo tourist:
“I’m searching for another position on the bike, the saddle and handlebars are different to normal. I must sit upright as much as possible, which isn’t comfortable. I feel like a cyclo-tourist on a bike,” he said.

Watched this today on the trainer with Eurosport commentary. How amazing was it as he tried to put chain back on, then couldn't quite clip in. Brilliant.

I was watching the Nord pas de Calais (sp.) I haven’t seen it before on TV. I was interesting seeing Continental, Pro Continental and Pro teams going together. There was a moment where Gert Steegmans put in an effort and turned to a Continental rider to pull through. He was driving as hard as he could and shaking his head at the same time. He couldn’t close the gap. Kirby, suggested that there was a 2kmh difference between each of the bands, Continental, Pro-Continental and Pro. And you could see that as Giran (name) rode off the front of the break. Just left them behind. Now seriously how often can you ride away from the bunch at our level? It was good to see TT1 riders in there because NSCC has produced one. This gives me a benchmark to me, to him, to Continental, to Pro Continental etc. God I am hopeless by comparison.

I really wish they would show more of these races. So Perick Fredrigo (sp) was in this one and finished third. It is great to see these good riders showing how good they really are. Sometimes that gets lost when you see them in the TDF (I know Fredrigo picked up an amazing TDF stage a few years ago.)

Sagan's kick makes everyone else look like they're not trying!

He is something special and only 22! He can sprint like a real sprinter but can keep up on the hills.

Sagan has taken 3 of the 4 stages of tour de suisse so far. Took out the TT - he beat Cancellara (ok, he's probably still getting his form back) then takes the sprint stages - a sprinter that can TT? Crazy stuff.

Smart, too. Gave up on the HC climb at the end of the previous stage, leaving him fresh enough to pinch the next one from Greenedge.

i think the sprinters often do well in the short TTs/prologues, where endurance isn't as much of an issue. although sagan is more than a sprinter, so it will be interesting to see how he goes in the longer Tour TTs.

Sagan is showing his ability to finish even under less than perfect finishes, shoe came off one stage and last night was a bit choppy almost going into the barriers.

And apparently responded to a pressman's question with something along the lines of "I'm not beating Cancellara, I'm beating a Cancellara coming back from injury."

Can the kid do any wrong? :)

I think his being very smart and not getting ahead of himself, the sprinters aren't at this race and they weren't at ToC either so he has to keep his feet on the ground. Impressive none the less. Tonight should sort out the GC a bit more how much time will F. Schleck lose and were will Valverde finish?

Frank Schleck didn't totally suck at the time trial  hopefully the next two stages will justify the complete Sagan bore fest of the previous stages.
