I didn't take a map, and would not have used it if I had one, not necessary on the ride I think.
Study the map before you go and if you can ride sections of the course as part of your training and you will be right.
Hi Blatant, no need to worry about getting the course right-pretty well signposted and I usually have plenty of people in front of me to follow
No road closures but they do have two lanes closed on westgate bridge for safety. haven't really used the map on course for direction, just location of rest stops.
