Bryton rider 50 map DVD
Postby themerlin » Thu Jun 07, 2012 1:14 pm
I assumed the unit came with all the regions.
Anyone know how I can get hold of the DVD, or even upload free maps to the unit?
Thanks

Bryton used OSM in the early versions, but the latest firmware locks you to using the Navteq maps which you need to get on DVD from Bryton. The format seems to be different to other Navteq maps that are around tooJohn Lewis wrote:Google bryton rider 50 and open street map.

You can buy the DVD for $100 which seems a bit steep.

I just read a forum post by Bryton that they would make this facility available second quarter 2012 but can't see any sign of it yet

Whats worse the Garmin ones are terrible. Tried to tell us a road in Adelaide which has existed for at least 15 years did not exist. Go with the OSM as they are far more accurate.
